DTEC-1 pressure switch for Gecko in.clear systems
This DTEC-1 pressure switch is used to replace the older model found on the Gecko in.clear salt-water electrolysis system.
This model is not to be confused with the much more common standard version, which is preset at 2 psi. To differentiate them, check the color of the small dot on the internal part: white for the standard version, blue for the in.clear version.
Note that we offer the new version of this pressure switch compatible with the old one (photo 4), which is no longer manufactured.
Characteristics
Relay type: SPST. The circuit between the two spade connectors is closed only when the water pressure reaches the required threshold.
Pressure threshold: preset in the factory at 1.5 psi
Maximum current rating: 1A
Thread: 1/8" MPT (outside diameter of 9 mm), like almost all pressure switches found in hot tubs.
