1" inside coupler

This fitting has two smooth 1-inch barbs connectors, which slide inside pipes, allowing you to connect 1-inch Scehdule 40 pipes together.

It's normally better to use a female straight connecter instead of a male coupler, in order to avoid reducing the internal diameter of the pipe, which would reduce the flow rate. The male coupler allows for a more compact connection, however, and also allows you to add a clamp on the outside of the pipe if needed. Many technicians prefer male couplers to female connecters when using flexible pipe.
