US Seal PS-1000 - wet end seal
This seal ensures that the water doesn't leak out of the pump wet end, along the motor spindle. It comes in two parts: one mounts on the wet end (in the centre of the photo) and the other slots in behind the impeller (right of the photo).
For a better seal at the steel collar, we recommend the addition of a silicone gasket or an O-ring.
Some wet end pumps are supplied with wet end seals that have an additional o-ring seal. In the case of a wet end seal replacement (delivered without o-ring), we advise you to add silicone to the bottom of the wet end pump to to ensure it is sealed correctly.
